FY2025 Adult Protective Services Procurement

AgeSmart Community Resources is seeking proposals from qualified organizations (not-for-profit and public agencies) for the provision of Adult Protective Services. The Adult Protective Services, under authority of the Illinois Adult Protective Services Act, responds to reports of alleged abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of persons 60 years of age and older, and of persons aged 18-59 with disabilities living in the community.  The purpose of this RFP is to designate a provider agency to serve AgeSmart’s planning and service area that is comprised of Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair, and Washington Counties.

The service provider must adhere to the Illinois Department on Aging’s Adult Protective Services Standards and Procedures and AgeSmart’s Service Requirements.

Successful applicants must comply with all applicable pre-qualification requirements including, but not limited to, current DUNS number, fiscal stability, are in good standing with the Secretary of State and are not on any Debarred/Suspended/Stop Payment/Excluded Parties listings.

  • Funding Period: June 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 with an option to extend for an additional two years.
  • Letter of Intent is requested, but not required.  If you wish to apply, submit a letter of intent to RFP@AgeSmart.org by November 15, 2024
  • Application Available: December 2, 2024.  
  • Application Deadline:  January 10, 2025
  • Submission of a Letter of Intent and receipt of a proposal packet does not obligate an agency to continue participation in the procurement.
